Earth Day Cleanup of Wheatena Park with Merck Pharmaceutic

A big THANK YOU to the incredible and even bigger team from Merck Pharmaceutical who joined us for our second annual Earth Day Clean-Up at Wheatena Park in Rahway! 

Our area of focus was the Rahway River! This enthusiastic crew rolled up their sleeves and walked the banks of the Rahway River, collecting loads of plastic bottles, glass, and other debris—making a real impact on the area and everyone who enjoys it. We collected 15 bags of trash and recyclables. 

We’re so grateful for Merck’s continued partnership and dedication to environmental stewardship. With more volunteers than last year, it’s clear this clean-up is turning into a beautiful Earth Day tradition—and we hope it keeps growing year after year, with more amazing people joining in!
